As promised here are the details of this Saturdays Salvation Army Toy Run
for inclusion on the Web.
We will LEAVE the Greyhound pub on the A6 in Westhoughton at 09.00 sharp.
We will go to Lane Head aiming to LEAVE at 09.15. If we get delayed on the
way there we will NOT be stopping for a chat at Lane Head.
We will then go to the Salvation Army HQ at Willmott Street in Manchester
where we will register and eat the free bacon butties or sausage butties and
have a brew.
At 11 o'clock the procession will leave Willmott Street and go down
Deansgate and make its way to the Trafford Centre where all the prezzies
will be handed over to the Salvation Army.

as some of you will already be aware it is our intention to use the Clearmont Hotel, Blackpool as the venue for this years Christmas Bash, (for info go to http://www.claremont-hotel-blackpool.com ) or see me about the info pack.
The usual Christmas meal and entertainment is provided plus overnight stay and breakfast at a cost of £58 Pounds per person. Deposits are now being taken. We are asking people who will be attending to pay £5.00 deposit per person over the next 2/3 weeks .The Hotel is very well equiped with full weights gym ,jacuzzi ,swimming pool etc, any one interested see myself or Don and Sharon. We can even offer you the ability to pay using a saving card scheme on a weekly basis.
The ninth round of the MotoGP was held at Assen, Holland on Saturday 30th June with the seventh round of the BSB held at Knockhill, Scotland on Sunday 1st July; our results are as follows:
Stoner, from 2nd on the grid, finished 2nd earning 4 and 20-points respectively; a total of 24 for the weekend’s racing. Edwards finished 6th earning him 10-points.
Stoner leads the Championship with 185-points whilst Edwards is 7th with 75-points.
Lavilla finished 7th in race 1 but did not complete race 2 earning a total of 9-points, whilst Byrne managed 4th and 5th in races 1 and 2 respectively earning him 24-points.
Lavilla is third in the championship with 220-points whilst Byrne is 5th with 151-points.
Total points for the weekend 67; total club points 821, position 3792nd.
Next racing will be held on the 15th July with the MotoGP at Sachsenring, Germany and the BSB Championship at Oulton Park.
BIFF
The eighth round of the MotoGP was held at Donington Park, England last Sunday (24th June); our results are as follows:
Stoner, from 5th on the grid, won the race earning him 1 and 25-points respectively; a total of 26 for the weekend’s racing. Nakano finished 14th earning him 2-points.
Stoner leads the Championship with 165-points whilst Nakano is 14th with 21-points.
Total points for the weekend 30; total club points 754, position 3758th.
Next racing will be held on the 1st July with the MotoGP at Assen, Holland.
BIFF
The eighth round of the WSB was held at Misano, Italy last weekend (17th June) as was the sixth round of the BSB championship in Ireland at Mondello Park. Our results are as follows:
WSB
Toseland, from 4th on the grid, finished 4th in race 1 and 6th in race 2 earning him 2, 13 and 10-points respectively; a total of 25. Polita had his ‘usual’ performance with a DNF in race 1 and 17th in race 2, earning zero points.
Toseland leads the Championship with 260-points whilst Polita is 22nd with 8-points.
BSB
Lavilla finished third in both races, earning a total of 32-points, whilst Byrne managed 2nd place in both races earning him 40-points.
Lavilla is second in the championship with 211-points whilst Byrne is 6th with 127-points.
Total points for the weekend 97; total club points 726, position 3748th.
Next racing is the eighth round of the MotoGP Championship at Donington Park, England on Sunday 24th June 2007.
